About InventoryATC

Built specifically to remove vendor bias from WMS advisory.

Nobody in this decision is on your side except us — and we prove it by never taking a vendor's money.

InventoryATC founder

Founder Background

13+ years inside the WMS channel, now working against it.

The founder spent over a decade in ERP and WMS channel sales, working directly with thousands of companies — from regional distributors to national manufacturers — helping them evaluate their warehouse operations and navigate software decisions.

That experience built deep, practical knowledge of what makes warehouse operations actually work: how receiving processes affect downstream accuracy, how pick path design drives throughput, how replenishment cycles affect service levels, and critically, how to ensure inventory data flows cleanly to the ERP so the business can trust its numbers.

It also made one thing clear: the advice buyers get during a WMS selection is almost always filtered through someone else's financial interest. InventoryATC exists to change that. The same knowledge that helped vendors win deals now helps buyers evaluate them honestly — without any compensation from the vendor side.

How We Operate

The rules this practice runs by.

No vendor fees. Ever.

InventoryATC does not accept commissions, kickbacks, referral fees, or any form of compensation from ISVs, implementation partners, or resellers. If we recommend a platform, it's because the analysis supports it — not because someone paid us to.

We don't implement. We advocate.

InventoryATC is not a VAR and does not resell or implement any software product. The selected ISV or implementation partner handles technical configuration. We act as the client's independent advocate throughout the selection and implementation process.

Specificity over vague value.

Every deliverable in every engagement is scoped, named, and described before the engagement starts. You know what you're buying. If we can't define what you'll receive, we don't offer it.

The ATC model.

An air traffic controller doesn't fly the plane and doesn't work for the airline. They have authority and trust precisely because they are independent and exist solely to get every flight safely to its destination. That's the role InventoryATC plays in WMS selection and implementation.

Why Independence Matters

The advisor's incentive is the only thing that matters.

An attorney doesn't earn a commission when their client settles. An accountant doesn't get paid by the bank when they recommend a financing structure. The reason you trust those professionals is structural: their income comes from you, so their advice runs toward your interests, not a third party's.

Most WMS consultants don't work that way. A reseller earns revenue by selling a specific vendor's product. An implementation partner earns revenue by implementing it. Even a consulting firm that claims to be "vendor-neutral" often has preferred partnerships, volume incentives, or referral arrangements that shape their recommendations in ways the client can't see.

InventoryATC charges a flat fee directly to the client — the same model as an attorney or accountant. We don't earn anything from any vendor, implementation partner, or reseller. That structural independence is the foundation of every recommendation we make.
